Cancellation & Refunds

At Akuna Jewels, we aim to provide a smooth and transparent shopping experience. Please read the following policy carefully before placing an order.

1. CANCELLATION POLICY

1.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellation

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once placed.

1.2 Company-Initiated Cancellation

Akuna Jewels reserves the right to cancel an order due to:

  • Stock unavailability
  • Incorrect pricing
  • Payment issues
  • Suspicious or fraudulent transactions
  • Technical errors

In such cases, the full amount will be refunded to the original payment method.

2. RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

We accept returns/exchanges only under the following conditions:

2.1 Eligible Reasons

A return/exchange is accepted if:

  • Wrong product was delivered
  • Damaged product was received
  • Product has a manufacturing defect

2.2 Mandatory Unboxing Video

Customers must provide a clear unboxing video that:

  • Shows the unopened package
  • Shows the product being opened for the first time
  • Clearly displays the issue (damage, defect, wrong item)

Claims without proper video proof will not be accepted.

2.3 Non-Eligible Reasons

Returns or exchanges are not accepted for:

  • Change of mind / dislike of design
  • Minor color differences (due to lighting or screen resolution)
  • Size variations within acceptable limits
  • Normal wear and tear after usage
  • Damage caused by improper handling or storage
  • Items without original packaging and tags

2.4 Condition for Return Approval

For return/exchange approval:

  • Item must be unused
  • Must be in original condition
  • All tags, labels, box, pouch must be intact
  • Courier tracking must match the approved return request

If the item fails quality inspection, the return/exchange will be rejected.

2.5 Return Shipping Charges

  • If the error is from our side (wrong/damaged product), we will cover the return shipping.

If the return is initiated due to customer’s mistake (rare cases), shipping charges may be borne by the customer.

3. REFUND POLICY

3.1 Refund Eligibility

Refunds are provided only when:

  • Return request is approved
  • Returned product passes quality inspection
  • Order is cancelled by Akuna Jewels

3.2 Refund Mode & Timeline

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.
  • Processing time: 5–10 business days (depending on payment gateway/bank).

3.3 Non-Refundable Items

The following are never refundable:

  • Shipping charges
  • Items damaged after use

Items returned without following the required steps.

4. DAMAGE CLAIMS

If you receive a damaged, tampered, or opened package:

  1. Take photos and videos immediately
  2. Do not throw away the packaging
  3. Contact us within 24–48 hours

Claims beyond 48 hours may not be accepted.

5. IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Fashion jewelry is delicate; damage due to water, sweat, perfume, or rough handling is not covered.
  • Minor imperfections or slight variations are normal in handcrafted items.

Refunds are strictly subject to inspection and approval by Akuna Jewels.
